50 years together
On February 9th, it was my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. My mom wrote a beautiful love letter to my dad and asked me if I could do “something special” with the letter so she could surprise him with it. Wow, that was a tall order!
But after some careful thought, and a lot of panic, I came up with this… It is one of their wedding pictures composed entirely of words, all of the words that make up the letter. I also wrapped the picture with a word frame which contains one whole iteration of the text and can be read in a spiral. The finished product is printed on resin coated aluminum and is 16 inches square. Here are some detail shots and one of it hanging on my parents’ living-room wall.
